Vishva Priya, after completing M. Arch and Urban Design program from Washington University, St. Louis, MO in 1980 who in 2006 launched Chelsea West Architects (and founding partner of Ahuja Priya Architects in 1988), has over 47 years’ experience working with internationally renowned master architects, established developers, public agencies and government institutions, providing planning, architecture, interior and urban design services.
As principal of the firm, Mr. Priya conceives design vocabulary, conducts reviews of design/construction documents and supervises project Quality Assurance/Control with the CWA team; he maintains a leadership role on every project from concept through completion, and is always accessible to the Clients and the entire project team. He prides himself on having developed appropriate sensitivities to the ecological and cultural specificities of each project and his design strategy has evolved to provide uniquely site specific, environmentally friendly/landscape integrated and cost-effective approaches unique to every project.
He has achieved sustainable design with the CWA team for a Griha-5, (LEED Platinum equivalent) REC LTD. HQ. Building, Gurugram, India. Mr. Priya is involved on all project phases which contribute to the successful realization of CWA’s past projects and predicts certainty for successful completion of future projects; he is greatly familiarity with “On Call” professional services contracts which range from feasibility reports to concept design/final design to bid documents to construction administration services.
